Our kits will save you the time of sourcing dozens of specific components, guaranteeing you have everything you need for your project in the highest quality.

Key Features of the Python 2 System:

  • Fully Modular: The system can be easily scaled from 2 up to 16 spool slots.
  • Universal Spool Compatibility: Supports nearly any spool up to 80 mm in width and 210 mm in diameter, including cardboard spools.
  • High Reliability: An optimized filament path and high-quality components minimize the risk of jams and loading errors.
  • Simplified Assembly: An improved design with fewer parts and screws allows for a faster and easier build process.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE

To build the Python 2 system, you must disassemble your existing Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro. The internal electronic and mechanical components (feeders, motors, main board) from your AMS will be used for this build. This system is not compatible with the first-generation AMS.

Available Kits:

1. Fastener Hardware Kit

The ideal choice for makers who want to 3D print all the plastic parts themselves.

  • Package Contents:
    • A complete set of M3 socket head cap screws in lengths specified by the project documentation.
    • A set of high-quality 608-ZZ and 693-ZZ bearings.
    • Sufficient length of PTFE tubing (ID 2.5mm).
    • The necessary Molex Picoblade extension cables.
  • Please Note: This kit does not include 3D printed parts or enclosure components.

2. Enclosure Kit

Contains the materials to build an elegant and functional dust-proof enclosure for your Python 2.

  • Package Contents:
    • Precisely cut panels from clear PMMA (acrylic).
    • Fasteners required exclusively for the enclosure assembly.
  • Please Note: This kit does not include 3D printed parts or the hardware for the Python 2 mechanism itself.

3. Complete Kit with Printed Parts

The easiest path to a functional Python 2. It includes everything needed except for the internal components from your existing AMS.

  • Package Contents:
    • The complete contents of the Fastener Hardware Kit (Option 1).
    • The complete contents of the Enclosure Kit (Option 2).
    • A set of precisely printed parts made from high-strength, temperature-resistant ASA from a European manufacturer (Color: Black, others available on request).
