Hula V1 Anti-Vibration Feet: Solid Feet Inspired by Seismic Isolators
HULA is an omnidirectional, self-aligning anti-vibration foot specifically designed to dampen movement vibrations generated by fast 3D printers. Its design was inspired by seismic base isolators used in earthquake-proof building structures.
Unlike standard rubber feet that are designed to absorb motor vibrations, HULA effectively decouples the printer from the table and absorbs the forces caused by the rapid directional changes of the toolhead.
Each package or version contains 4 pieces.
What does HULA do?
Dampens Horizontal Forces: It dampens vibrations on the XY plane of CoreXY and Cartesian printers, preventing the printer from swaying or wobbling.
Improves Print Quality: By dampening vibrations, it can help eliminate ghosting and other print artifacts.
Reduces Structural Stress: It reduces mechanical stress on the printer's frame, which may extend its lifespan.
Minimizes Noise:Vibrations that would otherwise be transferred to the table and other devices remain in the feet.
Broad Compatibility: In addition to Bambu Lab X1/P1, Original Prusa MK3/MK4, and Creality K1/K1C printers, the feet are now also compatible with models like Prusa Core One, Prusa Bear, and more.
Note for Bambu Lab users: Due to minor manufacturing variations in some printers, you might need to print "SHIMs". These small parts are not included in the package for logistics reasons and can be easily downloaded and printed for free.
